Creative Kids Interview: Eleven-year-old Jet Jurgensmeyer has been acting for most of his life, making his first television appearance on “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” in 2010. Since then, he’s appeared on “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Hot in Cleveland,” “Marry Me,” and more, as well as in films, including Redemption Road and The Little Rascals Save the Day. He’ll also star in the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie Adventures in Babysitting. On top of acting, Jet sings and plays guitar. Legends of the Hidden Temple Reboots Cast
[Via Variety.com] Nickelodeon’s recently announced “Legends of the Hidden Temple” reboot has cast young actor Jet Jurgensmeyer, Variety has learned exclusively.
Jurgensmeyer will play Dudley, the youngest brother in the family who has the ability to talk to animals, sans snakes, and befriends a green monkey named Mikey who accompanies the kids through the temple.

Jet Jurgensmeyer, an intrepid 11-year-old, has taken his Midwestern charm to the big screen. Listen for Jet on Nickelodeon’s animated series Shimmer and Shine and Bubble Guppies, and see him in Disney’s upcoming remake of Adventures in Babysitting. Other credits include American Sniper, Grey’s Anatomy, Devil’s Knot, and Hot in Cleveland.
• When I was 3, I started singing onstage at my parents’ restaurant in Nashville, where I was born. Then I did some acting, and I loved it.
• I don’t have stage fright at all. My parents always say that I’ll never meet a stranger.
• We live half the year in California and the rest in Tennessee and Missouri; I love coming back here to our family farm to see my grandparents and cousins and to ride horses and four-wheelers. That’s, like, the best thing.
